Southway Builders partners with COMPASS, a secure web-based platform designed to help General Contractors streamline their prequalification process. Our Preconstruction Administrator will send an invitation from COMPASS to begin the process. In addition to completing the COMPASS 1Form, please be prepared to submit all the required attachments, including but not limited to the following items. Submitting an incomplete 1Form or not submitting all the necessary information may delay processing and approval.
- Sample Insurance Certificate
- OSHA forms 300 and 300A (past three years)
- EMR Verification (past three years)

- NCCI form or letter from workers’ compensation carrier
- Letter From Your Surety on your Surety’s Letterhead

- Dated within the last 30 days, stating your single project bonding capacity, aggregate bonding capacity, and the amount available. If the letter is from your insurance agent, it must include the Surety’s Power of Attorney.

- If you have reservations about submitting financials, we can give you other options to submit this information securely but want to reassure you that COMPASS is a secure platform.

- Third-party prepared financial statements (audit, review, or compilation) from your last fiscal year-end, including a dated letter from a CPA firm, balance sheet, and income statement.
- Please also provide your latest set of internally prepared interim financial statements since your last fiscal year-end, including a work-in-progress and backlog schedule.
