Formerly St. Katharine’s School, Sage Center was redeveloped by Episcopal Housing into 24 apartments and program space on behalf of the Family Recovery Program, a program that reunites families whose children have been placed in court ordered foster care due to substance abuse issues.
The 28,000 square foot classroom building was adaptively renovated to provide a comprehensive living and program space for client families. The three above ground floors were converted into 24 two- and three-bedroom apartments. The basement level is used for classrooms, program areas, administration and community/conference space. Family Recovery Program staff will provide 24-hour security and intensive case management to ensure the success of client families. Staff will also connect client families with additional services as needed including healthcare, transportation, and job placement.
