Meet the Team

Dan earned a Bachelors in Science from Salisbury University and has been working in the construction industry since he graduated in 2018.

An experienced professional with a passion for construction and creativity, Dee's extensive construction experience begins at design conception through project closeout.

George has been in the industry for over 30 years. He excels in his role through strong working relationships with all parties in the industry and keeping to organized project schedules.

Logan came to Southway with four years of construction management experience as a Senior Field Engineer working on various commercial projects, including K-12 and multifamily.

Chris has been in the industry for over 12 years. He currently serves on the Young Leader’s committee for the Maryland chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America and is OSHA 30 certified.

Chris has over 17 years of experience in the industry. Specializing in managing high-profile, complex projects across diverse markets, Chris has a proven track record of exceeding schedule and financial targets while fostering strong team dynamics.

After interning for two summers and one winter, Southway was proud to welcome Hannah with her great attitude and strong work ethic. She received a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering on the Environmental Track at UMBC.

With over 13 years of experience, Lia is an expert at identifying and attracting talent that aligns with our mission to build and transform not just buildings, but people and communities.

Matt came to Southway in 2008 as a young, mature project manager eager for new challenges. Since then he has proven himself time and time again, being promoted through various leadership roles. Matt now oversees business operations for our Southeast Region.

Scott has been in the industry for over 34 years. He ensures onsite project success through managing all facets of daily operations while upholding strict adherence to MHT, MDE, BCGBS, OSHA, and local code regulations.

Sean has been in the industry for over 25 years. He has held field supervision roles on a variety of residential and commercial projects. Sean's positive attitude is a complement the project team.

Tony has over nine years of experience in the AEC industry and has a bachelor's degree in Architecture and Planning from The Catholic University of America.

Charlie came to Southway with more than fifteen years as a contractor and project manager.

Dedriyon is a results-driven construction professional with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He joins Southway as an Assistant Superintendent based in our Raleigh office.

Scott is a Preconstruction Project Engineer on our team. Scott holds a degree in Construction Management and Architectural Engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. He joins us with over 16 years of experience including estimating and project planning.

Brandon joined Southway as a part time intern his senior year of high school in a construction magnet program. He was promoted to Assistant Superintendent two years later and is pursuing a CM Certificate from CCBC Catonsville.

Dominick leads Southway’s marketing and business development efforts. He serves an instrumental role leading critical support functions in the company.

John has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. He joined Southway in 2001 to establish our commercial division and earned us a solid reputation for urban redevelopment and adaptive reuse projects. John now oversees all business operations for our Northeast Region.

Lee has been in the construction industry since 2004 and is a Preconstruction Project Engineer with our team. He has a degree from Towson University, and has worked on multi-family, commercial, adaptive-reuse, historic preservation, and institutional projects.

Reese joined Southway full-time after working with Southway as an intern in the Summer of 2022. He recently graduated from the University of Baltimore.

With close to 30 years of experience, Joe's passion for construction was evident as he worked his way up from assistant superintendent to superintendent, estimator, project manager, and eventually project manager. He has managed a diverse array of multi-million-dollar projects including ground-up base building, tenant fit-outs, and multi-family renovations.

Maryuri is originally from Honduras and immigrated to Baltimore while in High School. She joined us after two years as a laborer with another company on Southway jobsites.

Prior to joining Southway, Chris spent more than 16 years in the Custom Millwork industry working on high-profile projects. He is also working towards a degree in Construction Management from Indiana State University.

Harrison began as a laborer at Southway and quickly proved himself as a diligent worker. He has since worked his way to Superintendent.

Anabel joins Southway with several years of experience providing administrative support crucial to the success of a diverse portfolio of construction projects.

Andrew has been with Southway since 2018. He is constantly building relationships with subcontractors, building budgets for new projects and completing quantity takeoffs from blueprints.

Bill has been in the construction industry for over 18 years. He takes a collaborative approach to accomplishing project goals and ensures onsite project success through strong working relationships with the team.

Dave joined the Southway team in 2002 and managed some of our most complex and challenging multifamily projects before scaling back to a precon project engineer position in 2021 as he prepares for retirement.

Jeff has over 19 years of construction experience, specializing in tenant-in-place multifamily rehabilitations. He serves as the liaison between subcontractors, owners and project teams to ensure the smooth evolution of projects.

Jonathan has a degree in Construction Management from CCBC, and has been with Southway since 2019 as a Project Engineer. He’s worked on many projects, and is in charge of reviewing and processing submittals and RFI’s as well as reviewing proposals and minor change orders.

With over a decade of marketing experience, particularly within the construction industry, Lindsay brings a wealth of expertise in driving strategic marketing initiatives to support company growth.

Scott benefits Southway bringing with him 27 years of industry experience, including 16 years as a site manager.

Shelly has over 33 years of experience in the construction industry. She works on a variety of commercial and multifamily projects including both new construction and renovation.

Pat has been in the industry for over 30 years, working on a wide range of commercial, educational and medical projects throughout the region. His favorite thing about Southway is how easy it is to get along with everyone.

Everette has been a returning intern with Southway since 2018 and became a full-time employee in 2021. In addition to being an Assistant Superintendent, he recently achieved a Masters degree from Morgan State University!

Kayla became a permanent member of the team soon after her internship at Southway during the summer of 2023. She holds a Business Analytics degree from Towson University.

Patrick came to Southway with a degree in Environmental Science and experience working with his father’s flooring business. He also worked in home remodeling, running a company that sold windows, roofing, and siding.

Travis has been in the industry for three years. He started as a laborer and was brought on full time with Southway after seeing his work ethic and knowledge.

Brandon joined our team full-time after starting with Southway as an intern in the Summer of 2022. He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University.

Malindi has over 13 years of experience in the industry. Her portfolio includes urban-centric projects, historic renovations, adaptive reuse and multifamily residential units throughout Baltimore City and the greater metropolitan area.

Melanie has held CFO positions in both private and public companies including developers, property managers, real estate finance, and hospitality. She achieves her goals using a people, process, and technology methodology.

Roberto brings over 27 years of commercial and residential experience, along with 10 years with the Army Core of engineers and 17 years in the private sector. He previously has been a superintendent, project manager, and carpenter.

Getting his experience while simultaneously obtaining his degree, David has done landscaping, grounds keeping, surveying, and working as a laborer under a general contractor. 

Glen has worked with Southway since 1997. He is one of the most sought after employees for our larger projects. He manages work crews very effectively and plays a pivotal role as an extra set of eyes and ears for projects' Superintendents.

Joining Southway after being an intern with us in 2021, Jeff worked ten years under an electrical contractor and has a Bachelor’s in business management.

Rachel has been in the industry for 30 years and with Southway since 2003. She serves an integral role by managing all day-to-day operations in the office, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Steve has been in the industry for over 15 years. His extensive experience in field supervision ensures safety and quality on each project.

Ted has over 15 years of diverse project management experience on both commercial and multifamily projects.

Tyler is an Assistant Project Manager in our growing Raleigh, NC office. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Arkansas State University, Tyler has over 8 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on multi-family and institutional projects.

Willy joined Southway in 1993 as our first employee and took over as President in 2016. He continues to work closely with clients and oversees all aspects of the business.

Matt began at Southway just prior to graduating, came on as a Project Engineer and has progressed upward since starting here in 2013. He has been in the construction industry since high school.

Rejoining our team as a Project Manager, Will worked at Southway as an Assistant Superintendent ten years ago and grew into a Superintendent role. He oversaw the construction of scattered-site rehabs, townhomes, faculty housing, and an occupied rehab.

Blair, with 27 years in construction, excels in managing intricate projects and leading teams, known for his detailed approach and professional proficiency.

Dawn joined Southway with over 20 years of office administration experience, including ten years in property management. Her capabilities also include vendor and asset management.

Dan is a seasoned construction professional with over 27 years of experience. Between his vast knowledge of project management and his deep familiarity with the North Carolina region, including a long history of successfully completed projects and strong local relationships, Dan is an invaluable asset to our growing team in Raleigh, NC.

Eric has lived and worked in Baltimore since 2011, and been a Project Manager with Southway since 2019. He is responsible for the project schedule, budget, and quality control as well as subcontractor coordination and client relations. He has worked on both commercial and multi-family projects.

Kamonte is a Project Engineer at Southway and is simultaneously pursuing his bachelor's degree in Construction Management at Morgan State University.

Ruston recently graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore County. He came on as an intern in Summer 2018 and was brought on full-time. He assists in advancing our technological resources along with his regular duties.

Will joined Southway with over nine years of construction and project management experience overseeing large commercial projects in the greater Philadelphia region.

Joy joined Southway's Finance team as our Certified Payroll Administrator for the main office.

Lindsey comes with over 10 years of industry experience. Her experience includes mixed-use, shared living, hotel, and luxury condos.

Passionate about fostering strategic partnerships and driving growth within the construction industry, Matt brings a unique combination of experience in project management and business development, supported by a strong foundation in environmental sustainability.

Ted has been a Carpenter with Southway since 2010, and has been in the construction industry since 1982. His duties have included carpentry, punch out, working Foreman, and fill-in Superintendent.

Jennifer has a proven track record in driving organizational success through strategic human resources management, and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team. Specializing in talent acquisition, benefits administration, and performance management, she is dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Jay has broad experience in construction from preconstruction efforts to mechanical electrical and plumbing systems. His experience covers a vast range of multifamily and commercial projects which allows him to learn each jobsite diligently.

Bringing over 10 years of industry knowledge, Joe was a heavy equipment operator before collaborating with subcontractors and general contractors on commercial and residential projects.

Justin leads Southway’s preconstruction efforts through a dedicated team. He has been with the company since 2010 and provides extensive industry knowledge through his various roles in the industry.

Alek has an education in Computer Science with experience in software development and account management. He also has construction experience working for a power tool manufacturer and estimating for a prime trades contractor.

Brad joined Southway with over 13 years of diverse construction experience, eight focusing on multifamily projects. He has broad experience in project management, including preconstruction and value engineering.
