DESCRIPTION
Southway was selected by Sagamore Development, a private development arm for Under Armour’s CEO Kevin Plank, to renovate the base core and shell of the city’s former central garage. In less than nine months from the initial idea that sprouted among Sagamore developers, the vacant building was transformed into an incubator for makerspaces and light manufacturing.
In addition to the core and shell renovation, Southway also constructed the tenant improvements for Sagamore Spirits, which is the initial bottling operations for Plank’s rye whiskey distillery. Southway also finished the Main Street central area of the building, which is a mixed-use event space with customized workspaces for tenant companies.
