Southway’s expansion into the Southeast is led by Senior Vice President Matt Bolyard, who is responsible for managing our growing team of employees in North Carolina, overseeing all current projects, and leading our business development efforts in the area.
Founded in Baltimore in 1991, Southway Builders is led by a dedicated team of over 80 professionals that have managed over 7 million square feet of commercial projects and more than 10,000 multi-family units, maintaining an exemplary safety record throughout. Our mission-driven approach has set new benchmarks in multifamily housing, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation, establishing Southway as a leader in community transformation. Meet Matt Bolyard, Senior Vice President, Southeast Region
Matt Bolyard brings over two decades of experience in the construction industry to his role as Senior Vice President – Southeast for Southway Builders. He has been instrumental in managing large-scale projects, including historic restorations and multi-family housing. Under his leadership, Southway is expanding its presence into the Southeast, continuing our commitment to quality, dependability and integrity. Matt first joined Southway in 2008 as a Project Manager and has proven himself to be a tremendous ambassador for Southway’s purpose: to serve others to help them achieve their maximum potential. Matt has served as a National Board Member for Associated Builders & Contractors, earned his BS in Civil Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology, and his MBA from Loyola University in Maryland.
